I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has practiced cardiology for most of my nursing career. I believe in creating strong relationships with patients by listening to them and understanding how their health condition impacts their lives. I work with patients to provide individualized treatment plans that will work in their lives. I reference the most up-to-date, evidence-based research and explain options for patients to reach a shared decision that benefits them. I want to see all my patients living their best life!

Education — I believe that preventative education is so important, especially in today’s culture. Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. Hypertension — Nearly half of American adults have high blood pressure. Managing blood pressure by reducing risk factors, lifestyle changes, and medication regimens can save lives. Hyperlipidemia — Detecting, treating, and managing high cholesterol reduces risks for other diseases. Heart Failure — Preventing, diagnosing, treating, and managing heart failure so that patients have improved quality and length of life.
I have many hobbies and interests and tend to stay busy. I love, love, love summer and being outside. I like to travel and see new places with family and friends. I enjoy playing golf. I also enjoy crafting, wood working, gardening, and projects around the home with my husband. I love time with my family.
